Overview
Daylo (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is a game-scheduling platform for verified coaches. This policy describes what information we collect when you use the Daylo mobile app or website, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
When you create a Daylo account we collect:
- Your name and email address
- Your school affiliation and role
- Phone number (optional)
- Profile photo (optional)
As you use the app, we also collect:
- Availability slots, game requests, and confirmed matchups you create
- Messages, photos, and videos you send to other coaches through our in-app chat
- Push notification tokens so we can alert you to new requests and messages
- Basic device information (e.g. operating system) for troubleshooting
How we use your information
- To provide core scheduling features in the app
- To let other coaches find you and request games (your name, school, and availability are visible to other verified coaches)
- To deliver push notifications for new requests or messages
- To review and approve new accounts, and to moderate reports of abuse
- To contact you about important service updates or security issues
How your information is shared
We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for advertising. Your information is only shared:
- With other verified coaches on the platform (your profile, school, and game requests)
- With our infrastructure provider (Supabase) which stores data on our behalf
- When required by law or to protect the safety of users
Device permissions
- Calendar: used only when you choose to export a confirmed game to your device calendar
- Photos & media: used only when you upload a profile avatar or attach media to a message
- Notifications: used to alert you to new game requests and chat messages
Your rights
You can at any time:
- Edit your profile information inside the app
- Delete your account from Profile → Delete Account. Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, messages, game requests, and uploaded media from our systems.
- Contact us to request a copy of your data or to ask questions about this policy
Children's privacy
Daylo is intended for coaches aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will always reflect the current version.
